Halloween

We had unusually warm weather this fall and even in late October the weather was warm and wonderful. We went to Wheeler Farm to pick pumkins with our neighbors and had a great time.

This year for Halloween we threw a kid's party with our neighbors. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun. We had our usual mummy hotdogs and withches brew (homemade rootbeer) and this time we made some really cute owl cookies and a jello brain.

We played some games and had some food and then for the best part. We had a pinata. As if the kids weren't going to get enough candy trick-or-treating we filled an entire pinata with it and let them have at it.

The party was a huge success and later that evening we took Teagan to the trunk or treat that my parent's ward put on. It ended up being horrible weather on Halloween so the trunk or treat was nice. He got TONS of candy and had a great time. Here are the hightlights in photos:

Best Costume goes to the Doney Family. Little Red Riding Hood, her "Granny" and the Wolf.

Nikki and Ryleigh looking adorable as always

My favorite Teagan quote was when he was upset with my on Halloween (naptime) and said "Stop being a witch Mama!" I laughed pretty hard.

At the Zoo

Marissa and I decided to take Peach (Cameron) and Teagan to Hogle Zoo. We had a great time. The kids loved seeing the animals and Teagan especially loved the train and carousel. It was so fun watching Cameron's excitement over the animals. We had a great time and made it home by nap time. Even better. Didn't get any animal pictures oddly enough, but here's what I managed to photograph:
He looks so grown up in this picture!

Peach can't be bothered with measuring!

Teagan doesn't mind though
