That went by rather quickly if you ask me. He is such a talker now. He talks in sentences all the time and says the funniest things. About a week ago, I asked Teagan if he wanted breakfast and he said, "Yes. Mama, I like waffles." I said ok and started making him waffles. When they were ready I said, "Teagan, do you want your waffle?" He said, "No. How about oatmeal?"
If you ask him if he needs his diaper changed he says, "I don't think so." Instead of just no. He cracks me up with the funny things he says. I put a shirt on him and my mom and I mentioned that it was cute and he said, "No. It's really cute."
Teagan is on an antibiotic that has a horrible taste and we usually have to force it down. Imagine my surprise when a few days ago he said, "Mama, I need medicine." I said, "You want your medicine?" He said, "For Pooh. Pooh needs medicine." I let him use the dosing syringe to pretend to give Pooh some medicine. Then he rocked his stuffed Winnie the Pooh saying "It's ok, baby. All better." It was adorable.
He is such a loving little guy. He grew tired of giving hugs, but as soon as I started calling them squeezes instead, he thought that was pretty exciting. He puts both arms around your neck and says "SQUEEZE!" while he squeezes. It's one of my favorite things in the whole world. He loves to snuggle up to me which is another favorite of mine. It has to be his idea though.
He loves to read and play with cars and animals and tools. He likes to pretend to fix things. He says "Can we fix it? Yes we can!" from Bob the Builder.
He know most of the colors and about a third of the letters in the alphabet. He can count to 10 with a bit of help. He usually forgets 4. I can't believe how much he loves to learn. It's been so fun watching him grow and develop. I love my little guy so much! I can't believe how far I have come as a mother. Has it really been 2 years? I have learned a lot and still have a long way to go. I am so lucky to have him.

Teagan's Birthday
Teagan had a small birthday party this year. We were happy to have friends and family come and join us celebrate his 2nd birthday. He was very excited about the party. He picked out the decorations and wanted to have a "shot-bomb" party. That's how he says football. The day of the party he said football correctly and has said it correctly ever since.
My mom and dad were nice enough to let us have the party at their house since our apartment is much to small. Phill, Jeannine, Isaiah and Chase, Andrea and Shane, Blake, Kayce, and Glade, Devin and Amanda, Steph and Joe, Garrett, and My Grandma were at the party.
Teagan enjoyed the attention and loves to have people sing to him. He was very excited about the cake and presents. It was soon enough after Christmas that he remembered what presents were and how exciting that is.
We had a great time and are very thankful for everyone who came. I can't believe my baby is 2!

New Year's
We had a family party at Uncle Danny's house this year for New Year's. It was a lot of fun. Darryl and I brought along our friends Phill and Jeannine and their kids. We had a great time watching the kids play ping-pong. They loved it. Isaiah and Jayden hit it off and became fast friends and enjoyed playing together. Teagan loved playing pool with Grandpa the most. My Dad would stand at one end of the pool table and Teagan would roll the balls to him and then my dad would roll them back. Teagan couldn't get enough. Especially since my dad would roll the balls into one of the pocket's and Teagan was quite impressed with his aim.
Later on we got going with the karaoke and that is always fun. I like to call it experimental karaoke. I like to bust out songs that I have never done before and hope it goes well. It's funny how you think you know a song until you have to sing it. Then all you can remember is the chorus. That happened a few times. It was fun though.
Darryl took Teagan home early since Darryl had to get up at 4 the next morning. I stayed with my family and rang in the new year without him. :( Oh well. I have a feeling 2010 is going to be great. I always feel so goal oriented this time of year and I am excited at the prospects of bettering myself and my family. I have a lot to work on and a lot to look forward to. My baby turns 2 in a couple of weeks!!
