Teagan is a very happy baby. He is so good-natured and doesn't cry often. When he does cry, I end up with a headache that lasts about 3 hours! I guess I can just be grateful it doesn't happen often.
At his 2 month checkup, his pediatrician told me that by 4 months, he should be reaching for objects and be able to turn over. He suggested that I give him plenty of time on his tummy to practice rolling over and to avoid the flat head syndrome that babies can get.
Teagan is 3 months old now and loves reaching for objects and grabbing things. (like my hair, my shirt, and any jewelry that I might be wearing, and his latest favorite is my lip!) The rolling over hasn't improved though. I lay him on his tummy and he immediately starts crying. I know I need to leave him there, but it's so hard to just let him scream. I can't stand to see him so upset. I know it's the best thing for him and I make sure to put him on his tummy everyday. He throws a complete fit and bangs his head on the floor and kicks his legs but can't quite turn over yet. The poor kid doesn't like the tough love. Oh well, it will make a man out of him.

That would be rough. Just remember not to worry if he doesn't start doing things right on time. My sisters kids took forever to crawl and walk and they are just fine now.
I was never told to put Ava on her tummy...I started to when she was about 4 months because when she was Teagan's age she also HATED it!! Anyway...she rolled over in good time. My sister-in-laws 12 mo. old baby never rolled over...he just went straight to sitting up!! He will do stuff on his own time...with your guidance but still on his own time! good luck
Raylee HATED tummy time too, which meant I hated it. I worried all the time that she wasn't getting enough tummy time and that she would be behind on rolling over, and crawling, etc. But don't stress yourself out too much, he will do it eventually. I would love to give you some tricks on ways to get them to like it, but I never did find any. I just had to let her scream it out. Teagan sure is a cutie, though!
Cute baby!
Hey, I came across a pile of old notes and journal entries from middle school that I'm sure you would get a kick out of. Remember when I used to hit your locker every day to knock your mirror down? Oh good times. Awkward, but good.
